Default Need help with large file

I have created a media file for the halloween contest but it is 12mb (compressed and zipped) and i have tried half a dozen email providers to try to get this sent to ArenaNet.

Does anyone know of any genuine email providers who will let me send this 12mb file for free?
I have tried a couple that will let me send 15mb but because of the way email works, my 12mb file size gets pushed over the 15mb limit

Any help would be appreciated because i am on the verge of burning it to a dvd and mailing it accross the atlantic ocean!
If only Anet had an upload server for special occasions like these.

If such email providers don't exist, apart from sending a dvd, my only other alternative would be to cut out some media and accompanying sound...which isn't my favourite plan.

dude...
Zip and break the file into smaller bits using WinRAR..the AreaNet developers will be smart enough to rejoin it . Winrar is an extremely popular archiving format..

Heh, i hate winzip and winrar. I'm just tinkering with it now. They aint exactly made for people who spend their lives inside the real world aka, Guild Wars.

I have knocked a meg off the file size using the "best" compression option.

I think it could do better.
So i take the original file...split it and then compress each segment?

Split it using Winrar.

There is an option "Split file into" ... or something along those lines.

OK, i'm now an uber l33t god with winrar and winzip. /sarcasm

I have split the file into 8 parts (it wouldn't let me split into a smaller number) and i have created two zips with four parts in each...both files around 5 meg.
There is probably a better way but i think this should be OK. I will just have to send Anet two emails instead of one but it will save me a fortune in buying a pack of dvd's and postage stamps.

Thanks for the help guys.

Dude,
Just split into TWO files using Winrar and send each 5ish MB file to the developers....all they need to do is double click on the first file and VOILA!!! They get the whole file..
Ur way, they'll first have to decompress the zip files. and THEN put the remaining bits together...mite be an overhead...first way takes 2 steps..ur way takes 3..no issues but an overloaded developers(like me ) will probably get scared @ seeing archives inside archives!!
